Hi List,
I was discussing some things with our moderator late last night and told
him of some encounters we had with Bigfoot while deep in the forests on
Mt. Shasta. He asked if I wanted to post. Sure - Here it is...
When we first arrived at Mt. Shasta to live (just me and my wife - no
kids at that time) we would camp on the mountain with Daniel Boone and
two other brothers. In the Fall of '91 we started having contact with
the Bigfoot. We called him the "Bigfella" and he was joined with a mate
and a year old child. On occasion, Daniel would have some telepathic
communication with the family. They called themselves "Sitka" (like a
surname).
We found many prints around our campground deep in the
woods. His: about 35 in. Hers: about 24 in. and the baby: about 12 in.
We were never afforded face to face contact but it didn't lessen the
encounters one bit that's for sure. We were told (thru Daniel) that they
did indeed live in the mountain, grew their food hydroponically and were
interdimensional beings. We all slept outside without tents so we
wouldn't miss a thing and we always knew when they were around.
Their
big feet aren't so quiet in the darkness when they're around people
without fear. And they DID test our fear levels because this particular
specie of "Bigfoot" (there are several) were quite peaceful and friendly
and had no intention of making themselves known to humans holding a
bunch of fear. A 'prime directive" sorta thing.
We came with open,
loving hearts with pure intent and that was (it seems) a prerequisite
for any on going encounters of this nature.
One pitch black night around 3 am we were stirred a bit from sleep by
Daniel who was speaking softly from his sleeping bag. We later found he
was addressing Sitka's mate (not visible) who was instructing him to
turn his head and watch as her mate was going to leap from this
dimension into the fifth.
We were all groggy and still half asleep when
at the perimeter of our campsite rushed something big - a red light
flashed and then a mighty crack (almost like what dynamite might sound
like) ripped through the silence of the forest. What ever happened it
was about 40 yards from where we slept. We were up on our feet in an
instant (shaking in our boots) and it was over - all was silent. We
calmed down and went back to sleep hoping for more but nothing else was
to follow that night.
When we awoke the next morning we went to the
location of the red flash and thunderous crack to investigate. There we
found a perfectly good 62 foot tree cracked in half 12 foot up from the
base. This was the point of Sitka's departure. Almost like he slapped
the tree on his way out the ethereal door. It was all quite exciting at
the time and I look forward to getting back on the mountain next
summer. Now here's the really cool part. We were to leave that morning
and pack out.
When we were ready to go we received such a treat I will
never forget it. We could not see them but through the thick woods came
the most archaic and ancient melody I have ever heard. I couldn't
repeat the sounds if I tried - my mouth and tongue are incapable of such
(I tried). The three of them were singing to us a good-bye! It was
beautiful beyond words - so hard to describe. Almost like the Earth's
first song. That's the best I can do.
We heard them at other times
during our camping treks but nothing like this and nothing this close.
Our friends captured some of their "noises" on a tape recorder (which
they still have somewhere). We've had lots of other strange things
happen around us up there on the mountain deep in the forest - too
numerous to mention at 2:00 am in the morning (I've gotta get some
sleep). But I'll leave you with one more before I slumber.
One morning
we woke up to find deer prints all around us on the ground that of
course were not there when we retired for the night. Deer prints in and
of themselves may not seem so strange but having them come into our
campsite in the middle of the night and wander around a bunch of snoring
guys on the ground (without tents) is quite unusual. But here's the
kicker...right along side of the deer prints were perfect, five toed
foot prints about 1 inch long - walking right beside the deer in what
ever direction we saw the deer prints going!
Mt. Shasta is a magical mystery tour for the soul.
